Supreme Court:<\/span> In a petition filed by IPS Officer D Roopa seeking to quash a criminal defamation complaint filed by IAS Officer Rohini Sindhuri after D Roopa shared her personal pictures on social media and made corruption allegations against her, the division bench comprising Abhay S Oka and Pankaj Mithal, JJ. directed Roopa to remove the objectionable posts within 24 hours. Further, directed her to file an affidavit detailing what kind of posts have been deleted and if for some reason, she could not delete the posts, to make a post clarifying that whatever has been said against Rohini has been withdrawn.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the Court asked the two officers to resolve their dispute through mediation. Upon its failure, the Court expressed its disappointment that the officers could not resolve their disputes amicably and said that If IAS-IPS officers fight like this, how will the administration work.<\/p>\n

The Bench questioned Roopa that as she is not investigating any corruption allegations against Rohini Sindhuri, then how is she concerned with the allegations made by someone which are being probed by somebody else and what business she has to make allegations when it is a matter of trial.<\/p>\n
