RADR is an independent, annual, student-run, double-blind, and peer-reviewed publication. The theme of the first edition of the journal is &#8220;<span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Navigating the Expanding Role of Mediation and Arbitration in Dispute Resolution.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">About the Centre<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Centre for Alternative Dispute Resolution, RGNUL (CADR-RGNUL) was established in the year 2018 as a Centre dedicated to research and capacity-building in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). CADR aims to foster academic research and enrich existing literature on ADR, to bridge existing gaps between academia and the practicalities of a career in ADR, and to further the discourse on ADR in India with a view to bolstering efficient dispute resolution. Towards that end, CADR platforms pioneering ideas by organizing academic events, multiple national competitions, running a successful online blog, and circulating periodic newsletters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Eligibility<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Submissions are invited from all students, legal professionals, and practitioners who are interested in the domain of alternative dispute resolution and wish to send in their nuanced perspectives on the same.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Illustrative Themes<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&sect; International Commercial Arbitration<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&sect; Investment Arbitration<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&sect; Facets of Arbitration<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&sect; Guiding Factors in a mediation process<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">&sect; Domains of Mediation<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Submission Guidelines<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&sect; Abstract: 150-200 words.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&sect; Final Paper: <\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 54pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">-3,000-5,000 words for short articles<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 54pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">-5,000-10,000 words for long articles<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 54pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">-1,500-3,000 words for case comments<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt;\">The word limit is exclusive of the footnotes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&sect; Citation style: Footnotes must be properly cited strictly in accordance with <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Bluebook (21st edition).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&sect; Co-authorship is permitted up to a maximum of <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">two authors<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 36pt; text-indent: -18pt;\">&sect; Submissions need to be original, unpublished and non-plagiarised.
