ABOUT LCD-ADRC-<\/p>\n

Alternative Dispute Resolution Centre, a student body of Law College Dehradun, Faculty of Uttaranchal University is responsible for the practice, propagation and training of Alternate Dispute Resolution in Law College Dehradun. We aim to develop the students of Law College Dehradun into professionals with infallible skills of dispute resolution. Over the years ADRC has brought home numerous honors and awards from various National and International Negotiation, mediation and Client Counseling Competitions.<\/p>\n

ABOUT THE COMPETITION-<\/p>\n

“Conflict is good in a negotiation process, it’s the clash of two ideas, which then, all being well, produces a third idea.” To impart mediation and negotiation skills among budding lawyers, LCD-ADRC is coming up with its debut National Mediation Competition. We at LCDADRC are looking forward to seeing participants across the nation to sport their Freud apparel and Holmes Hat and join us in this event of learning and fun through Mediation. The flagship legal event, i.e. the Mediation Competition this year shall work with the specific aim of developing the interest in corporate & commercial law practice area amongst the participants. The adjudication of the rounds shall be done through a panel comprising of some of the most enlightened legal minds of the corporate legal fraternity. The quality of judges shall witness the participation of Associates, Senior Associates, Principal Associates and Partners of the top tier corporate law firms of the country. The Organizing Committee shall also Endeavour to invite legal practitioners including sitting Judges of high repute and eminent standing.<\/p>\n

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA<\/p>\n

    The registration is restricted to 32 teams for National Mediation Competition, 2023.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Each Participant must be a current Undergraduate Student (5 years or 3-year Course) of their respective institution.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    All three members of the participating team must be from the same institution.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    REGISTRATION PROCESS<\/p>\n

    1. \n

      The registration process will be in two steps i.e., Provisional Registrations and Final Registrations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Provisional Registrations shall commence 12th September, 2023 onwards.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      The Provisional Registration shall close on 27th September, 2023.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    4. \n

      Following the conclusion of Provisional Registrations the shortlisted teams will proceed to final registration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    5. \n

      The Final Registrations (including the payment of registration fees) need to be completed on or before 03rd October, 2023.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    6. \n

      Registering Teams are required to submit INR 3,000\/- in order to complete the final registration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    7. \n

      Negotiating Pair further qualifying to the Quarter-Final Rounds, if choose to take accommodation, shall submit an additional amount of INR 1,600\/- for accommodation at Uttaranchal University, Dehradun.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    8. \n

      Mediator further qualifying to the Quarter-Final Rounds, if choose to take accommodation, shall submit an additional amount of INR 800\/- for accommodation at Uttaranchal University, Dehradun.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
