The provisions came into effect on 24-8-2023.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">The Market Infrastructure Institutions (&#8216;MIIs&#39;) are now mandated to:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"List&nbsp;Paragraph\" style=\"margin-left: 0.0mm;\">Conduct comprehensive cyber audit at least 2 times per financial year.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"List&nbsp;Paragraph\" style=\"margin-left: 0.0mm;\">They have to submit cyber audit reports and a declaration from the MD\/ CEO certifying that-<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"List&nbsp;Paragraph\" style=\"margin-left: 0.0mm;\">Comprehensive measures and processes including suitable incentive\/disincentive structures, have been put in place for identification\/detection and closure of vulnerabilities in the organization&#39;s IT systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"List&nbsp;Paragraph\" style=\"margin-left: 0.0mm;\">Adequate resources have been hired for staffing their Security Operations Center.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"List&nbsp;Paragraph\" style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">They have complied with all the SEBI circulars and advisories related to cyber security.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"List&nbsp;Paragraph\" style=\"margin-left: 0.0mm;\">For the systems identified as <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Critical Information Infrastructure <\/span>by the National Critical Information Protection Centre, the MIIs are mandated to send the regular updates\/closure status of the vulnerabilities found in their &#8220;protected systems&#8221;.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"List&nbsp;Paragraph\" style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">They have to communicate the status of the implementation of the provisions of this circular within 30 days.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Note: <\/span>Earlier, the framework was laid down vide SEBI
