On 3-8-2023, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade restricted the import of Laptops, Tablets, All in one Personal Computers and Ultra small form factor Computers and Servers with effect from 1-11-2023.<\/p>\n

Key Points:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. \n

    The Import of the above listed items will only be allowed against a valid Licence for Restricted Imports, <\/span>purchased either from e-commerce portals, post or courier on payment of duty as applicable.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    The Restriction will not be applicable to Imports under Baggage Rules.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    These imported items cannot be further sold.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Exemption: <\/span>Re-import of goods which are repaired abroad do not need the licence.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    The import consignments can be cleared till 31-10-2023 without a Licence for Restricted Imports.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
