Bhatti, JJ. did not allow the stay but directed the police authorities to ensure that no events of violence or hate speech take place during the protest marches in Delhi-NCR.<\/p>\n<p>As there were reports of VHP and Bajrang Dal activists holding rallies to protest against the recent incidents of communal violence in Nuh and other parts of Haryana, an urgent application was filed to stop the said rallies. Hence, the Supreme Court held a special sitting at 2 PM to hear the matter.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Apart from directions for police authorities to ensure no violence and hate speech in the protest rallies with the presence of adequate forces, the Court also directed the authorities to video record the rallies being proceeded with in sensitive areas and preserve the footage of the same.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Bench said that<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>&#8220;We hope and trust that the State Governments, including police authorities, will ensure that there are no hate speeches against any community and there is no violence or damage to properties. Wherever required, adequate police or paramilitary forces must be deployed. Further, authorities must make use of the CCTV cameras wherever installed, or make video recordings in all sensitive areas wherever required.
