It gives us immense joy to announce that UPES, School of Law, Dehradun is organising it’s VI Surana & Surana and UPES School of Law National ‘Insolvency Law’ Moot Court Competition, 2023<\/span> in association with its esteemed joint organizer, Surana & Surana International Attorneys, Chennai<\/span>, in collaboration with SCC Online and EBC<\/span> as exclusive ‘Knowledge Partners’. The competition is scheduled to take place from August 18th<\/span> – August 20th<\/span>, 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

UPES, aims to foster a culture where creativity, invention, subject-matter expertise, and critical thinking are encouraged to promote well-rounded personal and professional development. The competition provides an excellent opportunity for passionate law students to involve themselves in intellectual discourse over the days of the National Moot court competition.<\/p>\n

About the Moot<\/p>\n

The Surana & Surana and UPES School of Law National Insolvency Law Moot Court Competition was introduced to offer a forum for discussions on developments in insolvency law, in addition to fostering the development of cutting-edge skills in research, writing, and advocacy.<\/p>\n

Since its inception, the competition has seen great expansion, with strong participation from across the country. The institution has hosted each edition with zeal and intensity, and it intends to continue the tradition this year with the same enthusiasm for learning.<\/p>\n

Eligibility<\/p>\n

Students pursuing their full-time 3-year LLB (or) 5-year LLB program from a University or Institute recognized by the Bar Council of India, are eligible to apply. A recognized Institution\/College\/University shall be entitled to send only one Team for the competition.<\/p>\n
