The President of India has re-appointed Solicitor General of India, Tushar Mehta for another 3 years. In addition, the President also re-appointed six Additional Solicitors General of India for the Supreme Court for another 3 years.<\/p>\n

The Department of Legal Affairs, Ministry of Law and Justice issued a notification dated 30-06-2023 which notified the re-appointment of Solicitor General Tushar Mehta with effect from 1-07-2023. There are six Additional Solicitors General of India reappointed as per the said notification with effect from 30-06-2023 and 1-07-2023 respectively.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta was re-appointed 3 years ago<\/a> with effect from 1-07-2020. Among the Additional Solicitors General re-appointed through the instant notification, ASG Aishwarya Bhati, ASG Balbir Singh, ASG N. Venkataraman, ASG Suryaprakash V. Raju were among the 6 Senior Advocates appointed as the Additional Solicitors General of India in the list of appointments as per 2020 notification. However, ASG K.M.
