[DDA v. Narvada Devi, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink\/jK2fHtdI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">(2023) 5 SCC 646<\/a>]<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"border-bottom: 1px solid black; border-bottom-style: dashed;\">\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0002763211\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013<\/a> &#8212; S. 24(2) &#8212; Deemed lapse of acquisition proceedings: <\/span>For invoking S. 24(2) of the 2013 Act, it must be established that: (i) there was non-payment of compensation; and (ii) possession was not taken.
