Kerala High Court:<\/b> In an application under Section 438<\/a> of Criminal Procedure Code, 1973<\/a> (‘CrPC’) seeking anticipatory bail for Indian National Congress leader and Member of Parliament, K. Sudhakaran for the offence under 420<\/a> of the Penal Code<\/a>, Ziyad Rahman A.A., J. granted anticipatory bail to the Sudhakaran.<\/p>\n\n

In the matter at hand, the Sudhakaran was issuednotice under Section 41-A<\/a> of CrPC<\/a> directing him to appear before the Investigating Officer on 23-06-2023.<\/p>\n

The Court ordered K. Sudhakaran to appear before the Investigating Officer in compliance with the notice. It further directed that in the event of arrest, he should be released on bail after compliance with certain conditions of bail bond and sureties. The Court also directed Sudhakaran to cooperate with the investigation in the instant matter and not to attempt to intimidate or influence the witnesses.<\/p>\n

The instant order shall be in force for a period of two weeks. The Court listed the instant matter for next hearing on 30-06-2023.<\/p>\n
