Reliance Industries Limited | Sintex Resolution Plan<\/p>\n

Khaitan & Co acted as legal counsel for Reliance Industries Limited and Assets Care & Reconstruction Enterprise Limited (“Resolution Applicants<\/span>”) in relation to submission of Resolution Plan for Sintex Industries Limited, which was undergoing corporate insolvency resolution process under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016<\/a>. The resolution plan involved payment of approximately INR 3,600 crores to the creditors of Sintex Industries Limited along with delisting of its equity shares and FCCBs. The primary role of the firm involved drafting and finalisation of the Resolution Plan, negotiation with the resolution professional and committee of creditors, attending proceedings before the NCLT on behalf of the Resolution Applicants and implementation of the Resolution Plan.<\/p>\n
