The High Court rejected the plea and said that the petitioners have bypassed the remedies under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0002726935\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973<\/a> (&#8216;CrPC&#8217;).<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Bench said that the reasoning of the Lower Courts that sanction under Section <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0001519441\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">196<\/a> of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0002726935\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CrPC<\/a> was required from the Union Government might not be correct.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Further, commenting upon the remark &#8220;<i>desh ke gaddaron ko goli maaron<\/i>&#8230;&#8221; Justice KM Joseph said that here &#8216;<i>Gaddar&#8217;<\/i> means traitor and &#8216;<i>goli maaron<\/i>&#8217; was not in terms of medicine prescription.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Thus, the Bench issued notice to the Delhi Government and Delhi Police.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">[<span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: #632423;\">Brinda Karat v.
