Repeals Right to Work Law"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 24-03-2023, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed the Bill for repealing the law on &#8220;right to work&#8221; which allowed workers to opt out of unions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Law currently prohibits an individual from being required to do any of the following to obtain or continue employment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Refrain from or resign from membership in, affiliation with, or financial support of a labor organization.<\/li>\n<li>Become or remain a member of a labor organization.<\/li>\n<li>Pay any dues, fees, or other charges to a labor organization.<\/li>\n<li>Pay a charitable organization or another third party an amount of money equivalent to dues, fees, or other charges that are required to be represented by a labor
