Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. advised State Bank of India in granting financial assistance by way of a rupee term loan facility to Torrent Power Limited. The assistance was availed by the Borrower for the purpose of capital expenditure related to upgradation, maintenance, and expansion mainly for its distribution franchise and distribution licensee business. The deal was valued approximately at USD 146 million and the expected date of closing the deal was 29th September 2022.<\/p>\n
