Symbiosis Law School, Pune established in June 1977, epitomizes excellence in legal education. It stands tall with the NIRF and India Today Nelson Survey ranking the institute among the top 10 law schools of India and the Bar Council of India conferring it with the Gold-star Award in 2013. In a journey of 44 years, it has achieved various milestones in teaching, learning and research. Its innovative and creative educational experiments have set it apart from other law colleges in the city and the region.<\/p>\n

Symbiosis Law School, Pune shall be hosting the 15th<\/span> edition of our Annual Cultural Fest, Symbhav 2023 from 24th<\/span> March to 26th<\/span> March 2023. ‘Symbhav’<\/span> is a student-driven cultural extravaganza which aims to bring together students from different disciplines across the country and abroad to provide a platform for mutual learning and growth.<\/p>\n

The fest hosts over 40 events this year including the 6th edition of our SLS P Conclave’23<\/span> where we aim to provide a platform for expounding new ideas, deliberating upon new themes, and delving into the creative minds of India’s youth via organising an Legal Panel Discussion-cum-Interactive Session<\/span> with eminent personalities. This year, Conclave aims at building all-around knowledge and hone various analytical and intellectual skills of the students through discourse and discussion.<\/p>\n

The legal panel discussion-cum-interactive session seeks to encourage a culture of deliberation within the college on various socio-economic-legal topics. It will act as a forum where the students shall have the opportunity to inculcate within themselves an acumen for the legal analysis and supplement their academic learning with legal awareness. The platform will not only allow the audience to witness an engaging dialogue between the most revered legal figures of the country but also to express and clarify their own views and opinions by way of the interactive session.<\/p>\n

SLS-P Conclave has witnessed the likes of eminent personalities such as Hon’ble Justice Dinesh Maheshwari (Judge, Supreme Court of India), Justice Abhilasha Kumari (Judicial Member, Lokpal Committee), Retired Hon’ble Mr. Justice Perody Vishwanatha Shetty (Lokayukta of State of Karnataka and Former Judge, High Court of Karnataka), Advocate Ms Aishwarya Bhati (Additional Solicitor General of India), Hon’ble Mr. Justice Anil Kumar Menon (Judge, High Court of Bombay), Dr. Annabelle Bennet (Chancellor of Bond University and Former Judge, Federal Court of Australia), Mr. Mukul Rohatgi (Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India), Mr. V. Lakshmikumaran (Founding Partner, L&S Attorneys), Dr . Vinod Surana (CEO and Partner, Surana & Surana International Attorneys), Mr. Parag Tripathi (Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India), and Mr. Pavan Duggal (Chairman, International Commission on Cyber Security Law).<\/p>\n

This edition of SLSP-Conclave 2023 on the 25th<\/span> March, 2023<\/span> shall entail a Legal Panel Discussion on the theme, “The Intersection of Artistic Expression and Censorship in the Age of New Media<\/span>.”<\/p>\n
