ABOUT THE ORGANIZER<\/p>\n

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) (SIU) was established in the year 1971. Symbiosis Law School, Pune (SLS Pune) has been a constituent of SIU since 2002. The India Today-Nielsen study has placed SLS-P among the top 10 law schools in India every year since 2007. It is listed as one of the top three law schools in the Super Excellence Survey 2019 by GHRDC, and it is ranked number three by the National Institution Ranking Framework (NIRF) of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.<\/p>\n

ABOUT THE EVENTS<\/p>\n

There will be three competitions as part of our cultural fest this year:<\/p>\n

    4th<\/sup> Nithin Patil Memorial Mono Advocacy Competition, 2023 – 24th<\/sup>, 2023 -25th March 2023<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Deal Mediation Competition, 2023 – 24th<\/sup> March 2023 – 26th<\/sup> March, 2023<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Client Counselling Competition, 2023 – 24th<\/sup> March ,2023 – 25th<\/sup> March,2023<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Judgment Writing Competition, 2023- 26th<\/sup> March,2023<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  5. \n

    Agreement Drafting Competition, 2023- 26TH<\/sup> March 2023<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    TEAM COMPOSITION AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURES<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. \n

      4th<\/sup> Nithin Patil Memorial Mono Advocacy Competition, 2022 – Extempore<\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. \n

        The competition is open for students who are currently pursuing LLB via a three year \/ five-year course.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      2. \n

        Each participant has to contest individually.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      3. \n

        All the participating institutions\/individuals have to provisionally register by filling the Registration Form<\/a><\/span> – https:\/\/forms.gle\/zHTitPJBYQwrhmfW8<\/a> on or before 15th<\/sup> March, 2023<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      4. \n

        Subsequently, the participants will receive an email, signifying the status of their provisional registration for participation. The participants will be required to make the payment within 3 days of the receipt of the email of acceptance of provisional registration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      5. \n

        The registrations will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis and any change in the registration must be informed to the organizers at the earliest.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      6. \n

        The participants will be required to pay ₹ 1800<\/span> as registration fees once their provisional registration is confirmed by the organizers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      7. \n

        The propositions for the first two rounds will be released 3 days prior to the commencement of the competition (i.e. on 21st March,2023).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n

      8. \n

        Client Counselling Competition, 2023<\/span><\/p>\n

        1. \n

          The participants shall be from any of the 3 Year LLB or 5 Year Integrated LLB Course.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        2. \n

          Each team will consist of two<\/span> participants and they shall be from the same institution.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        3. \n

          Team(s) may not be altered after registration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        4. \n

          Registration fees for Client Counselling event is ₹ 2600\/-<\/b>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        5. \n

          All the participating institutions\/teams have to provisionally register by filling the Registration Form<\/a><\/span> – https:\/\/forms.gle\/dTQyrBZW5x3bktV28<\/a> on or before 15th March 2023<\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            Each team will consist of three<\/span> participants, (who are the Client, Counsel and Mediator). They shall be from the same institution.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          3. \n

            Team(s) may not be altered after registration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          4. \n

            Registration fees for Client Counselling event is ₹ 3000\/-.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

          5. \n

            Judgment Writing Competition, 2023<\/span><\/p>\n

              Each team shall consist of a minimum of (01) one participant and a maximum two (02) participants belonging to the same college.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            2. \n

              The participants shall be pursuing a 3-year LLB or 5-year integrated LLB programme from any college within India.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            3. \n

              The team composition may not be altered after registration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            4. \n

              The last date of Provisional Registration shall be March 14, 2023<\/span> must be done on this Registration Link<\/a><\/span> – https:\/\/forms.gle\/dZ1wvUjZYbnsKSFSA<\/a><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            5. \n

              The Registration fee for the competition is ₹ 500\/-<\/span>, for which the payments details share be shared with the provisionally registered participants on their Email IDs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

            6. \n

              The Final Registration shall be confirmed via mail only after receipt of the payment, which has to be completed within 3 days after the confirmation of provisional registration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

              The judgement is to be submitted via the google form both docx and pdf<\/span> latest by 11:59pm IST, March 22nd, 2023<\/span>, on the Submission Link<\/a><\/span> – https:\/\/forms.gle\/A31HxXQzxq1qvwnG9<\/a>.                 AVAILABLE PACKAGES FOR REGISTRATION FEES (OPTIONAL):<\/p>\n

                Given below are the discounted prices for registration fees if a participant opts for a package. Participants are free to register for the events individually as well, where the original registration fee will apply<\/u>. Please ensure that you provide the necessary details for all events relevant to your package, in the provisional registration form, if you opt for the below packages.<\/p>\n

                  All Legal Events:<\/span> If a participant chooses to participate in all of the above-mentioned (05) events, the total Registration fee collected would be ₹7500\/- (Original amount: ₹8400\/-)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

                2. \n

                  All Offline Legal Events:<\/span> If a participant chooses to participate in all of the above-mentioned offline events (Mono Advocacy, Client Counselling, and Deal Mediation), the total Registration fee collected would be ₹6500\/- (Original Amount: ₹7400\/-)<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  To avail the above packages, fill out the respective provisional registration form for the event(s) of your liking, individually and we will reach out to you with further details. This will be done on confirmation of your provisional registration.<\/p>\n

                  AWARDS AND CERTIFICATES<\/p>\n

                  Participation certificates will be awarded to all participants, in all of the above competitions. The awards of ‘Winner’<\/span> and ‘Runner Up’<\/span> will be awarded in all three competitions<\/span>, with an additional award of ‘Best Advocate’<\/span> in the 4th Nithin Patil Memorial Mono Advocacy Competition, 2023.<\/p>\n
