About the NLIU Cell for Law and Technology<\/p>\n

The Cell for Law and Technology (NLIU-CLT) is a centre at the National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU) which specializes in research, education, and outreach on the intersection of law and technology. The Cell is dedicated to promoting an understanding of legal and policy issues surrounding the use of technology in various sectors such as business, governance, and society.<\/p>\n

About Techtonic 2023<\/p>\n

The NLIU-CLT Technology and Law Fair: ‘Techtonic’<\/i> is a major flagship event organized by the NLIU Cell for Law and Technology annually. It is one of the most sought-after events in the field of technology law. Techtonic provides a platform for students, researchers, and practitioners to come together and discuss the latest developments in technology law and its impact on society. The Fair includes a range of activities such as workshops, panel discussions, and competitions that provide participants with an opportunity to gain insights into the legal and policy issues surrounding technology.<\/p>\n

‘Techtonic 2023’, which is the second edition of NLIU-CLT’s flagship event, is scheduled to be held from 24th February 2023 to 26th February 2023<\/b>. One of the major highlights of the Event is the Round Table Conference.<\/p>\n

About the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY)<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) is an executive agency of the Union Government of India responsible for information technology (IT) policy, strategy and development of the electronics industry. One of the specific divisions of the Ministry relates to Cyber Laws as well. The vision of the Ministry is to transform India into a developed nation and an empowered society by way of e-development. Such development requires efforts on various fronts including law and policy formulation.<\/p>\n

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has kindly consented to provide us with Logo Support for the Round Table Conference.<\/p>\n

About the Round Table Conferences<\/p>\n

The Techtonic Round Table Conferences<\/b> include a panel discussion with renowned industry experts. This Conference provides a platform for experts to share their insights and perspectives on the latest developments in technology law and its impact on society.<\/p>\n

The Conference shall be held entirely in a physical set-up within the campus of National Law Institute University. Necessary details of the Round Table Conferences are as follows:<\/p>\n

Date – 24th<\/span> February 2023 (Friday)<\/p>\n

Time – 17:30 hours<\/p>\n

Round Table Conference II:<\/i><\/p>\n

Theme – Metaverse<\/p>\n

Date – 25th<\/span> February 2023 (Saturday)<\/p>\n

Time – 16:00 hours<\/p>\n

All participants who attend the event physically shall be awarded a Certificate of Participation.<\/p>\n
