The Act incorporated a University of Law of national stature in Punjab, thereby fulfilling the need for a Centre of Excellence in legal education in the modern era of globalization and liberalization.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">About School of Law, Pondicherry University, Pondicherry<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Pondicherry University was established with the aim to deploy globally competent resources in terms of people, infrastructure and partners through development of trained human resources, who will serve as agents of value based Societal transformation in various spheres of life enriched with technology &#8211; assisted education, research, training and cultural integration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Themes to be covered in the one-week and Public Policy<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Consumer Law and Policy<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Economics and Business Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Economics and Competition Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Economics of International Trade Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Behavioural Economics and Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Economics and Rule of Law<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">General guidelines about the programme:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Mode &#8211; The programme would be held in Online mode through the Cisco Webex platform.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>E-certificates would be provided only to those participants who will attend all the Sessions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Eligibility &#8211; The programme is open
