About Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur<\/p>\n

Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur is founded on the pillars of expertise, justice, and service and is passionately committed to conforming to global standards of quality legal education. It has been established upon the visionary ideas of Dr S.B. Mujumdar, Chancellor, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Pune, thus, inheriting splendid novelty, dynamism and excellence in education in the principles of Vedic thought ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ which means ‘World is One Family’. Being a constituent of Symbiosis International University, Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur is strategically located in the potential educational hub of Maharashtra thereby offering a multitude of opportunities for budding lawyers and harping on the rich legacy of being the finest destinations for imparting legal education in central India.<\/p>\n

About the Competition:<\/p>\n

Through the student-run cell, the Alternative Dispute Resolution Cell (ADRC), the Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur, is organising the Mediation-Arbitration (“Med–Arb”) Competition is conducted with the aim of making the student fraternity accustomed to resolving disputes efficiently and to understand the benefits of the ADR mechanisms.<\/p>\n

Med-Arb is a distinct hybrid of Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms which aims at developing the future members of the legal fraternity with efficient methods of resolving disputes in the legal arena. The competition promises to serve as a premier stage to recognize and portray the practical skills of participants from various law schools across the country and further aims at becoming an internationally recognized competition in the coming years. With collaborations with top-tier law firms and chambers in India, and the best of the best of those in the profession in India this year, Symbiosis Law School Nagpur through this Competition promises to provide a glorious experience.<\/p>\n

Registration:<\/p>\n

There is a two-step registration process for the competition, the Provisional Registration and the Final Registration.<\/p>\n

Selection shall be made on the basis of the ADR achievements and curriculum of the participating teams and universities.<\/p>\n

Registration fees per team is set at Rs. 6000\/- per team. (Including Accommodation and Food)<\/p>\n
