The applicability of Human Rights law is wide and is spread across various disciplines of displacement of migrants, refugees, treatment of prisoners etc. and is constantly evolving. In this connection, the TNNLU &#8212; NHRC Moot aims to further the vision of the NHRC by promoting, sustaining, and enabling young scholars and providing a platform for engagement and discourse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The MCC of TNNLU has been regularly conducting various inter and intra moot court competitions since 2014. The first edition of the National Moot Court Competition was organised from 24th to 26th March, 2017. In 2018, MCC collaborated with the Indian Fair-Trade Regulator, Competition Commission of India (CCI) for the first time to organise the 1st edition of the <i>TNNLU &#8212; CCI National Moot Court Competition<\/i> which saw large participation from law students all over India. <br \/>This year we are happy to collaborate with NHRC to organise our <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">1<span style=\"vertical-align: super;\">st<\/span> edition <\/span>from March 3rd &#8212; 5th, 2023. The moot problem is based on &#8216;issues faced by migrants&#39; during the organization of a Sports event by a Public Private Partnership.<\/p>\n<p><b>Mode<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The mode of the Competition will be offline in the TNNLU Campus.<\/p>\n<p><b>Eligibility<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">All students enrolled in a three (3) year LL.B. programme or a five (5) year LL.B. programme shall be eligible to participate in the Competition. However, only one team per institution shall be eligible to participate. Students enrolled in post-graduate or diploma courses are not eligible to participate.<\/p>\n<p><b>Team Composition<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The team composition for the Competition shall be either two members (Both the members designated as Speakers) or three members (Two members designated as Speakers and one member designated as a Researcher) <\/p>\n<p><b>Registration<\/b><\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p class=\"List&nbsp;Paragraph\" style=\"margin-left: 0.0mm;\">Selection of teams shall be on first-come-first-serve basis and only 24 teams will be registered to participate in the Competition. Institutions may provisionally register and reserve a slot in accordance with the procedure prescribed in the brochure. However, provisional registration does not secure a slot unless the team has completed the registration process prescribed as per the brochure. Provisional Registration for the Competition shall open on 22nd January, 2023. Institutions can temporarily block a slot by writing to the Organizers at <a href=\"mailto:nhrcmoot@tnnlu.ac.in\">nhrcmoot@tnnlu.ac.in<\/a>. Institutions will receive a response immediately regarding the availability of slots and reservation of the same.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"List&nbsp;Paragraph\" style=\"margin-left: 0.0mm;\">Institutions who have provisionally registered must complete the Registration process described in Rules given in the brochure, by 11:59 PM (IST), 30th January 2023. A slot can be secured only after the teams complete the Final Registration process by 11:59PM(IST), 30<span style=\"vertical-align: super;\">th<\/span> January 2023. Teams will receive a unique Team Code after registration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"List&nbsp;Paragraph\" style=\"margin-left: 0.0mm;\">To complete the Final Registration, teams must email a soft copy\/scanned copy of the duly filled Registration Form, which has been annexed with this Brochure at page 24, along with a scanned copy of the Demand Draft drawn in accordance with Rule 3.3.3 to <a href=\"mailto:nhrcmoot@tnnlu.ac.in\">nhrcmoot@tnnlu.ac.in<\/a> with the subject &#8216;Registration for 1st TNNLU-NHRC NMCC, 2023.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"List&nbsp;Paragraph\" style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">A fee of Rs. 4,000\/- (Four Thousand Rupees Only) is payable towards registration. The registration fee must be paid by drawing a Demand Draft in favour of &#8216;The Registrar, Tamil Nadu National Law University&#39;, payable at
