Delhi International Arbitration Centre has commenced the online registration for the first edition of its flagship event – Delhi Arbitration Weekend 2023.<\/p>\n

The event is set to roll out with its inaugural session on 16th\u00a0February, 2023 which begins with a special address by the Guest of Honour, Mr. Peter Henry Goldsmith, Baron Goldsmith PC KC (Former Attorney General for England and Wales and Northern Ireland) followed by a keynote address by Hon’ble Dr. Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, Chief Justice of India.<\/p>\n

DAW is spread over four days divided into multiple sessions featuring experts from across the globe. Some of the eminent speakers include Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjiv Khanna, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Surya Kant, Hon’ble Mr. Justice S. Ravindra Bhat, Hon’ble Mr. Justice V. Ramasubramanian, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Vikram Nath, Hon’ble Ms. Justice Hima Kohli, Hon’ble Mr. Justice P.S. Narasimha, Mr. V.K. Rajah SC (International Arbitrator, Duxton Hill Chambers), Prof. Doug Jones AO (International Arbitrator), Mr. Jimmy Yim (Senior Counsel and Chairman, Drew & Napier LLC), Mr. Rajesh Pillai KC (Barrister, Three Verulam Buildings), etc.<\/p>\n

DAW would be the centre stage of discussions and deliberations, covering a wide range of topics including challenges and issues in arbitration ecosystem, limits to party autonomy, corruption in arbitration, construction claims arbitrations, investment treaty arbitrations, emergency arbitration, arbitrations in post-covid world, conflict of interest in arbitrations, etc.<\/p>\n

With seats limited in number, those interested in participating are required to register online for the event on the official webpage of DAW. The registration will be subject to confirmation by the Organizing Committee.<\/p>\n
