Greetings from the NUALS Debating Society!<\/b><\/p>\n

We are proud to announce the return of our flagship parliamentary debating event, and we wholeheartedly welcome you to the 7th edition of the NUALS Parliamentary Debate (NPD)!<\/p>\n

The tournament starts on Friday, 10th February, and goes on for two exhilarating, energetic days till Sunday the 12th. This year’s NPD is guaranteed to deliver beyond expectations: in terms of the quality of debate, the Core Adjudicator Panel, and, of course, the prize pool. So, mark your calendars, and clear your schedules, as we have opened our Phase 1 registration!<\/p>\n

As evidenced in our form and brochure, participants have the option of registering in both the open and novice categories.<\/p>\n

From the moment we are informed of your interest in the event and slots are booked, a dedicated helper will be allotted to your contingent – to help you with the payment, booking of travel tickets from your place of residence to Kochi, etc.<\/p>\n

The opportunity of a lifetime: Kochi, a heritage city, is very rich in culture and tradition, and visiting contingents can make full use of the various opportunities afforded by the city. The world-famous Fort Kochi, during the time of NPD, will be all decked out to welcome the Kochi-Muziris Biennale – a biennial cultural symposium and art exhibition, sure to capture your attention and leave you stunned! The attractions of Kochi are many – from the serene comfort of the famous ‘Jew Town’ to the ancient ‘Cheenavala’ or Chinese fishing nets, this place is sure to take your breath away. Further, Varkala, adorned with beautiful cliffside beaches and cafes, is just a 3-hour train journey away from Kochi! Cozy hill stations like Munnar, the gorgeous backwaters of Alappuzha, and the brilliant forests of Idukki are also close by, and they are accessible and open to all.<\/p>\n
