GLS UNIVERSITY <\/b><\/p>\n

GLS University has been established with the objective of providing an ideal and creative learning environment and continuing the tradition of excellence in the education of the sponsoring body of the University, viz., Gujarat Law Society (GLS) Gujarat Law Society, established in the year 1927, is one of the largest and oldest educational institutions in the State of Gujarat. FACULTY OF LAW<\/b><\/p>\n

Faculty of Law (FOL), a constituent department of GLS University, is a premier destination for students interested in establishing a virtuous career in Law and aiming to become torch bearers of Justice. The faculty of Law has emerged as the most preferred destination for legal education. The college has the advantage of senior and well-experienced faculty members in the field of Law. The senior practising advocates also contribute to teaching and providing experiential learning to law aspirants. The teaching pedagogy includes classroom discussions, case studies, interactive presentations, guest lectures, expert sessions, seminars, conferences, and case law methods coupled with intensive practical training through moot courts. It is worthy to note that the Faculty of Law has ventured into all possible educational arenas by organizing International Conferences, National Moot Court Competitions, National Sports fests, and various seminars at the National and International levels. It has now become the epicentre where knowledge liberates; ideas are conceptualized and shaped into existence. The untiring contribution made by the Faculty of Law has enabled the college to secure a position in Forbes Legal Power list 2020 as one of the most promising and top law schools.<\/p>\n

About the Moot Court Competition<\/b><\/p>\n

This competition aims to provide a challenging yet fun courtroom experience to law aspirants to help them develop their analytical, critical reasoning, and advocacy skills without the need for legal knowledge or any legal training.<\/p>\n

An interactive event will allow participants to learn about the legal system and what it is like to be a lawyer. The participants will analyse the factual matrix of the situation provided and argue on the same.<\/p>\n
