It aims to create and promote an environment of debate and discussion on issues relating to Technology Law. The Cell has been continuously taking efforts to engage in a variety of activities to keep up with its vision to be ahead of the curve when it comes to the intricate interactions between technology and legal policy.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">About CyberPeace Foundation<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">CyberPeace Foundation (CPF) is the world&#8217;s first non-profit civil society organization and think tank of cyber and policy experts with the vision of pioneering CyberPeace initiatives to build collective resilience against cybercrimes &amp; global threats of cyber warfare. As a pioneer in CyberPeace advocacy, CPF is on a mission to promote &#8220;Technology for Good&#8221; beyond borders. CyberPeace Foundation is involved in Policy Advocacy, Research and Training related to all aspects of CyberPeace and CyberSecurity. Key areas of CyberPeace Foundation&#8217;s work are in Technology Governance, Policy Review and Advocacy, Capacity and Capability creation and building through partnerships with various government organizations, academic institutions and civil society entities.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">About the &#8216;NLIU-CyberPeace Talk on Data Privacy&#8217;<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">CyberPeace Foundation plans to hold consultations with the academia, especially the young netizens, on their understanding of <u>Data Privacy and Data Protection<\/u>. The learnings from ground will be compiled as a <u>White Paper<\/u> which shall be submitted to the government while adhering to data confidentiality norms.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">The NLIU Cell for Law and Technology is organizing a panel discussion in collaboration with CyberPeace Foundation &#8211; the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">&#8216;<i>NLIU-CyberPeace Talk on Data Privacy<\/i>&#8217;<\/span>. The panellists include Mr Vineet Kumar, Founder, CyberPeace Foundation, Mr Rajinder K Vij, Former Director General of Police, Chhattisgarh and Mr Santosh Sharma, Bandhan Bank.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt;\">The <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">&#8216;NLIU-CyberPeace Talk on Data Privacy&#8217;<\/span>, which is the 10<span style=\"vertical-align: super;\">th<\/span> Episode of the CLT TalkShows, is scheduled to be held from <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">03:00 PM to 05:00 PM on 09 November 2022, Wednesday<\/span>. All participants shall be awarded a Certificate of Participation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Registration Form:<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/wi1oXYE5PScEj9TS6\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/wi1oXYE5PScEj9TS6<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Deadline:<\/span> 11:59 PM, 05 November 2022 (Saturday).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Submission of Opinion<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt;\">Participants may also submit an opinion on the question &#8211; &#8216;Whether withdrawal of the Data Protection Bill by the government is pragmatic?&#8217;.
