&#160;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">On 18-10-2022, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India has issued a circular directing all the insurance companies to comply with their circular dated circular 16-07-2018 and\u00a0 cover mental illness all insurance products shall cover mental illness and comply with the provisions of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0002841655\">MHC Act, 2017<\/a> without any deviation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">Insurers are required to confirm compliance before 31-10- 2022.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">As per Sec <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0002530224\">21(4)<\/a> of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0002841655\">Mental Healthcare Act, 2017<\/a> every insurer shall make provision for medical insurance for treatment of mental
