The University has subsequently been recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) in September 2011 u\/s 22, u\/s 12B in the year 2018 of the UGC Act of 1956 and Bar Council of India (BCI). At present, the University has more than 600 students on rolls in the undergraduate course. The University has been included as member of the CLAT w.e.f. CLAT 2012. At the undergraduate level, University offers Five-year Integrated B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) degree Program which consists of ten semesters. The University also started its Research Program in January 2012. The Law School regularly conducts various competitions (moot courts, debates, essay writing, legislation drafting, quizzes etc. at national level), conferences and seminars at both national and international Levels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">It is an endeavor of the NUSRL to become the beacon of legal education by encouraging synthesis of knowledge and best practices cutting across the academia and research fraternity.<\/p>\n<p><b>About the Journal<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">The NUSRL Journal of Law &#038; Policy is the flagship journal of the National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi. It is an annual journal that provides an extensive platform to academicians, practitioners, researchers and students to assimilate, exchange and extend their ideas to facilitate the debate on contemporary legal issues through their scholarly articles and research papers. The journal assumes an inter-disciplinary orientation and is wide enough to include national as well as international legal and policy-based issues within its sweep.<\/p>\n<p><b>Submission Guidelines<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Word Limit<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Research papers (3,000- 5,000 words)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Book reviews (1000-2000 words)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Case Studies\/Commentaries (1000-3000 words)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">However, looking at the quality and depth of research, relaxation may be given and word limit may vary. Entries from all aspects of law whether direct or applied are encouraged.<\/p>\n<p><b>Eligibility<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">Entries from scholars including students pursuing Bachelors or Masters Course in law and any other allied discipline of Social Science, Humanities and Managements would be accepted. <\/p>\n<p><b>Citation Style<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Bluebook Uniform System of Citation (19th Edition) shall be strictly adhered to for Law and MLA style Citation for Humanities and Social Sciences.<\/p>\n<p><b>Format<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Times New Roman font, Font Size 12 is prescribed for all entries. Further, the footnotes shall be in Font Size 10 and line spacing of 1.5 and 1.0 shall be followed respectively for Main Text &#038; Footnotes.<\/p>\n<p><b>Mode of Submission <\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">Entries are to be sent at \u2013 <a href=\"mailto:jec@nusrlranchi.ac.in\">jec@nusrlranchi.ac.in<\/a> latest by <b>30th November 2022<\/b>. No hard copy of the same is required.<\/p>\n<p><b>Additional Guidelines<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">Submission must be made in \u201cWord File\/.doc\/.docx\u201d format. PDF files are not allowed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">The first page of the submission must be a Cover Page with all the particulars of the Author &#038; the Co-author like Name, Institution\u2019s Name, Designation, Semester, Course Name, Mobile Number &#038; E-mail Id. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">Rename your Research Paper file before sending it. The name of the submitted Word File should be \u2013 \u201cName of the Author &#038; Co-author (if any)\u201d <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">For Example: Sirish Prakash and Ayush Koushik &#038;
