M. Harish Memorial Government Law College International Online Moot Court Competition, 2023<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">The 24th Edition of the DM Harish Memorial GLC International Moot Court Competition (DMH) 2022 is being organized by Government Law College, Mumbai, India, in association with the DM Harish Foundation. The Competition is scheduled to be held on the <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">11th &amp; 12th of February, 2023<\/span>. The mode for the competition will be <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Online.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Organisers:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">DMH is India&#39;s first international Moot Court Competition which started in the year 2000 as a National Moot Court Competition and has been open to international entrants since the past fifteen years. It has seen the keen participation of a number of teams from across all continents.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Competition Details:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Moot problem of the competition deals primarily with issues relating to International Law, highlighting the emerging legal landscape and has been drafted by experts in the field. The participants are made to go through extensive Mooting Rounds, to ensure that only the two best Teams reach the Final Round of Arguments. All participants are also to present their Written Submissions a month prior to the Competition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Moot Court Competition is conducted over 2 days where the participating teams go through two Preliminary Rounds of Argument where they would be arguing each side once, Octo-Final Rounds of Arguments, Quarter-Final Rounds of Arguments, the Semi-Final Rounds of Argument and finally, the Final Round of Arguments. Eminent lawyers and Judges of the highest standing in India, academicians and experts in the field of International Law all converge to judge the various rounds of the competition, as in the past years, the Final Rounds of Arguments will once again be judged by a distinguished bench of sitting Judges of the Hon&#39;ble Bombay High Court who will grill the participants and evaluate their performances in a sombre real-life setting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Registrations:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Memorial Rounds: <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">Registrations for the competition are now open. All Indian Colleges\/Universities applying through the Memorial Round, except the Invited Colleges\/Universities as mentioned in Annexure 1 of the Rules, are required to fill this Google form: <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/n77tstb4Bgw8jSNc7\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/n77tstb4Bgw8jSNc7<\/a> latest by 11:59 p.m. on 10<span style=\"vertical-align: super;\">th<\/span> October, 2022<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Overseas Teams Registration:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">Overseas teams may participate in the Competition by making an application to the Organisers via e-mail to <a href=\"mailto:dmh.glc@gmail.com\">dmh.glc@gmail.com<\/a> . Only after the application has been confirmed will a link to a Google Form and details for the payment of registration fees be provided. The teams will be required to upload the screenshot\/proof of the same while filling the google form for registration<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Invited Indian Teams Registration:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">The organisers shall invite ONLY those Indian Universities\/Colleges (refer to Annexure I of the Rules), which had qualified to the Semi-Final Rounds in the 23rd D. M. Harish Memorial Government Law College International Online Moot Court Competition, 2022 to participate in the competition. The invited colleges must provisionally register themselves by sending an email to <a href=\"mailto:dmh.glc@gmail.com\">dmh.glc@gmail.com<\/a>. The teams will be required to upload the screenshot\/proof of the same while filling the google form for registration<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Eligibility:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">Participants must be current students of any recognised law college in the country.
