On 28-07-2022, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has issued Foreign Exchange Management (Borrowing and Lending) (Third Amendment) Regulations, 2022 to further amend the Foreign Exchange Management (Borrowing and Lending) Regulations, 2018.<\/p>\n

The amendment temporarily increases individual borrowing limit of USD 750 million or equivalent per financial year to USD 1500 million or equivalent.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

After Paragraph 8 of Schedule 1 which specifies \u201cIndividual Limits of borrowing\u201d, the following shall be added:<\/p>\n
