We aim to use our legal expertise and analytical skills to present novel arguments on domestic and international issues that affect our daily lives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\">We are frequently cited across a number of platforms and academic journals in India and abroad, such as <em>The Diplomat, The Print, Firstpost, Vice, Voelkerrechtsblog, SCC Online, Mondaq, Modern Diplomacy, Independent Australia, Social Change Journal and The Indian Journal of Law and Technology<\/em>. Our articles have been cross-posted on multiple platforms such as <em>LiveLaw<\/em>, and The <em>Eleventh Column<\/em>. Our content has also been featured on global academic resource <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mcgill.ca\/federalism\/federalism-covid-19-pandemic\">compendiums<\/a>, and Legislative <a href=\"http:\/\/164.100.47.193\/Refinput\/New_Reference_Notes\/English\/10092020_154834_102120474.pdf\">notes<\/a> circulated among Members of the Indian Parliament. As of December 2020, LSPR has published over <b>300 articles<\/b>, recording upwards of <b>3,50,000 views <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>The Newsletter<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-indent: 18pt; margin-bottom: 3%;\"><b>LSPR&#8217;s Bi-Weekly Newsletter is one of the latest initiatives by LSPR. The newsletter comprises crisper articles dealing with highly contemporaneous issues. The Newsletter is now open for submissions on a rolling basis.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Submission Guidelines<\/p>\n<ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\">\n<li>\n<p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 1.76mm; margin-top: 1.76mm; color: #0c0707;\">The submission should deal with highly contemporary issues concerning any area of Law\/Policy, preferably dealing with events which have occurred <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">within 2 weeks<\/span> of the author&#8217;s submission. Only original content developed by the author(s) will be accepted. Submissions will be screened for plagiarism.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 1.76mm; margin-top: 1.76mm; color: #0c0707;\">The submission should be concise, analytical and must provide a clear understanding of the contemporary issue it discusses. It is advisable that authors avoid excessive use of technical, legal jargon for newsletter submissions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 1.76mm; margin-top: 1.76mm;\"><span style=\"color: #0c0707;\">Submissions must be emailed to <\/span><a href=\"mailto:lawschoolpolicyreview@gmail.com\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; text-underline-style: solid; text-underline-mode: continuous; text-underline-color: #0d445d; color: #0d445d;\">lawschoolpolicyreview@gmail.com<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #0c0707;\"> in the form of a word document. The subject of the email should be <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">\u2018SUBMISSION \u2014 NEWSLETTER&#8217;<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 1.76mm; margin-top: 1.76mm; color: #0c0707;\">The submission should preferably be between <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">800 \u2014 1,200 <\/span>words. This stipulation is flexible at the Editors&#8217; discretion in exceptional cases.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 1.76mm; margin-top: 1.76mm; color: #0c0707;\">The body of the email must contain a short bio of the author(s) and the name of the institution that they are affiliated to. Co-authorship of up to <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">three authors<\/span> is permitted.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 1.76mm; margin-top: 1.76mm; color: #0c0707;\">The submission should contain a title.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 1.76mm; margin-top: 1.76mm;\"><span style=\"color: #0c0707;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">References<\/span> must be in the form of hyperlinks, linked to keywords and phrases in the body of the submission. Use of footnotes\/endnotes should be limited to offline sources only. For footnotes\/endnotes, the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.ox.ac.uk\/oscola\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; text-underline-style: solid; text-underline-mode: continuous; text-underline-color: #0d445d; color: #0d445d;\">Oxford University Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #0c0707;\"> (OSCOLA) (4th edition) must be adhered to. Authors are advised to be precise while referencing, such as by hyperlinking the relevant statutes and judgements, and citing the precise provisions and chronology in brackets.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 1.76mm; margin-top: 1.76mm; color: #0c0707;\">Authors are also requested to attach an <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">image<\/span> to accompany the piece. The Image should be representative of the submission&#8217;s topic, area or argument. It should be high quality (upwards of 1000p) with an aspect ratio of 2:1. Please mention the <i>image source<\/i> in the email, for the purpose of giving creator credits.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 1.76mm; margin-top: 1.76mm; color: #0c0707;\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Important<\/span>: The authors must include a declaration in the body of the mail, as to the <i>bona fides <\/i>of their submission. A sample declaration to that effect can be: <i>\u201cThe article is an original work of the author\/s. I certify that the intellectual content of this article is the product of my own work.
