LAOT seeks to publish engaging and insightful articles on matters of general public law. The blog has been cited in numerous law review articles, legal books, and\u00a0by a <a href=\"https:\/\/indiankanoon.org\/doc\/184449972\/\">Constitution Bench<\/a> of the Supreme Court. It is also followed in many Commonwealth countries including the UK, Australia, Singapore, Kenya, Malaysia, and South Africa. Since 2017, the Blog has been managed by a Core Editorial Team from NALSAR University of Law,\u00a0Hyderabad, under the aegis of our <a href=\"https:\/\/lawandotherthings.com\/senior-editorial-board\/\">Board of Editors<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Call for Blogs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">LAOT publishes analytical\u00a0or explainer pieces in the field of public law, with keen attention to mentoring law students throughout\u00a0the editorial process. The blog offers everyone the opportunity to receive feedback on their writing from some of the most distinguished people in the field of public law. All selected articles are reviewed by our distinguished\u00a0Board of Editors, comprising Anurag Bhaskar, Aparna Chandra, Dayaar Singla, Disha Wadekar, Malavika Prasad, Mohsin Alam Bhat, Nick Robinson, Nikita Sonawane, Raeesa Vakil, and Vikram Raghavan. The blog offers everyone the opportunity to receive feedback on their writing from some of the most distinguished people in the field of public law. We welcome posts from law students, academicians, and practitioners alike.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Submission Guidelines<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The topic must be within the scope of the blog, i.e., it must be related to an area of public law. For reference, please look at the posts on our website.<\/li>\n<li>The post should preferably make an argument or assertion substantiated by reasoning and relevant facts.<\/li>\n<li>Language need not be strictly academic, but it should be formal.<\/li>\n<li>The piece should not exceed the word limit. Longer pieces may be split into multiple parts for better readability, if the topic calls for it, however the same is discouraged.<\/li>\n<li>All references should be provided as hyperlinks instead of citations unless an online source is unavailable.
