of Annual Statement of Accounts) Rules, 2022 relating to the annual statement of accounts, including the balance <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">sheet of the Centre.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Key points:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span id=\"page38R_mcid1\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The Centre must maintain its accounts and prepare its annual <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">statement of accounts, balance sheet, receipt and payment account and income and expenditure statement in the Forms <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">of financial statements<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span id=\"page38R_mcid2\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The General Financial <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Rules, 2017 must be followed by Centre while incurring or authorising any expenditure.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span id=\"page38R_mcid5\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Annual statement of accounts balance sheet, receipt and payment account and income and expenditure <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">statement of the Centre along with the Schedules I to XXIII shall be authenticated by the Chief Executive Officer of <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the Centre or the Chairperson of an Audit Committee constituted with the approval of Chairperson of the Centre<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\"
