It is supported by L&amp;L Partners Law Offices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Submissions for scholarly, original and unpublished written works from people across the legal profession \u2013 students, academicians and practitioners \u2013 are invited, to be published in Volume 5 of the Journal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A<\/strong><strong>BOUT THE<\/strong><strong> J<\/strong><strong>OURNAL<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <em>Indian Arbitration Law Review<\/em> is a specialized periodical devoted exclusively to arbitration law, which offers legal professionals, academicians and students an up-to-date review of the field. The Journal is published by EBC and indexed on SCC Online as well as HeinOnline. Published pieces include long articles, short articles, case comments, and book reviews on the law and practice relating to arbitration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>S<\/strong><strong>UB<\/strong><strong>-T<\/strong><strong>HEMES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Journal welcomes submissions on any of the following sub-themes:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Summary Determinations in International Commercial Arbitration.<\/li>\n<li>Validity of Pre-arbitral Dispute Resolution Clauses.<\/li>\n<li>Intersection of International Arbitration and Sustainable Development.<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of the ICSID Arbitration Rules, 2022.<\/li>\n<li>International Arbitration as an Instrument of Economic Development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: The above sub-themes are only illustrative, and the Journal would welcome submissions on any topic related to arbitration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>C<\/strong><strong>ATEGORIES FOR<\/strong><strong> S<\/strong><strong>UBMISSION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Submissions can be made under the following categories:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Long Articles <\/strong>(4000-8000 words*): The article must be a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of a contemporary issue in arbitration law and should include references to a range of sources and contributions in the form of alternatives and suggestions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Short Articles <\/strong>(2000-4000 words*): The article must be an analysis of a contemporary issue in arbitration law and should include a reference to a range of sources and contributions in the form of alternatives and suggestions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Case Comments <\/strong>(1500-4000 words*): The comment must be an analysis of a recent judgment, bringing out its relevance in light of the development of arbitration law, views expressed in the judgment and the opinion(s) of the author.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Book Reviews <\/strong>(1000-3000 words*): The review must be a crisp account of a recently published book on arbitration, including the issues explored and related arguments of the author.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>*The word limit is exclusive of footnotes and abstract. The prescribed word limit may be relaxed up to 10%, at the discretion of the Editorial Board.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Submissions are accepted only in the English language.<\/li>\n<li>All articles must be accompanied by an abstract not exceeding 300 words. Case Comments and Book Reviews do not need abstracts.<\/li>\n<li>The abstract must expressly include the novelty and usefulness of the idea that the author wishes to put forth and must categorically mention the specific contribution of the article beyond the existing available literature.<\/li>\n<li>Co-authorship (with no cap on authors) is permitted for all articles.<\/li>\n<li>The manuscript should not contain any references to the identity of the authors. However, authors are allowed to cite their previous published work.<\/li>\n<li>The body of the manuscript should be in Times New Roman, Font Size 12 and 1.5-line spacing.<\/li>\n<li>The footnotes should be in Times New Roman, Font Size 10 and single line spacing.<\/li>\n<li>The citations must conform to the style of OSCOLA (4<sup>th<\/sup> Edition) \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1Auh0hrFpJ1_AbMcCA24uquIkk3tPanzX\/view?usp=sharing\">Key available Here.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Manuscripts should only use footnotes as a means of citation. No other method shall be permitted.<\/li>\n<li>Substantive footnotes are permissible.<\/li>\n<li>Kindly send your manuscript in MS Word (.docx) format to ialr@nliu.ac.in. The subject of the email should be \u201cSubmission for Volume 5 -&lt;Title of the manuscript&gt;\u201d. The submissions must be sent by <strong>11:59 pm, 31<sup>st<\/sup> August, 2022<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>IALR accepts manuscripts on a rolling basis. Manuscripts received after the deadline shall be considered for publication in Volume 6.<\/li>\n<li>The submission should be accompanied by a Covering Letter, which must include the following
