On May 09, 2022, the Central Government has notified the following events as sporting events of national <\/span>importance.

  2. Commonwealth Games<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Asian Games<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Events relating to the following sports,-<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    • \n
        \n
      • Cricket<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
        (i) <\/span>All official One-Day, Twenty-<\/span>20 and Test matches played by the Indian Men\u2019s and <\/span>Women\u2019s Cricket Team and all International Cricket Council Test matches featuring India;<\/span><\/span>
        (ii) <\/span>Semi-finals and finals of Inter<\/span>national Cricket Council Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s One<\/span>-Day <\/span>International World Cup;<\/span><\/span>
        (iv)<\/span> Semi-<\/span>finals and finals of International Cricket Council Men\u2019s and Women\u2019s Twenty<\/span>-20 <\/span>World Cup;<\/span><\/span>
        (v)<\/span> All Semi-finals and finals of International Cricket Council Champions Trophy (One Day);<\/span><\/span>
        (vi)<\/span> All Semi-finals and finals of International Cricket Council World Test Championship;<\/span><\/span>
        (vii)<\/span> Semi-<\/span>finals and finals of International Cricket Council Men\u2019s and<\/span> Women\u2019s Asia Cup <\/span>(Twenty -20 and One-Day International) ; and<\/span><\/span>
        (viii)<\/span> India playing matches, Semi-finals and finals of Under-19 World Cup.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
      • Tennis<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
        (i)<\/span> Davis Cup-All matches featuring India;<\/span><\/span>
        (ii)<\/span> Grand Slam Tournaments,-<\/span>Finals of Men\u2019s Singles, Women\u2019s Singles and all matches <\/span>featuring Indian player from quarter-finals onwards; and<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        (iii)<\/span> Grand Slam Tournaments, – All such matche<\/span>s featuring Indian player in men\u2019s doubles, <\/span><\/span><\/span>Women\u2019s doubles or Mixed doubles from quarter<\/span>-finals onwards.<\/span><\/span>

          • Kabaddi <\/span><\/span><\/strong>World Cup<\/span><\/strong> \u2013<\/span> All matches featuring India, semi-finals and finals.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
          • Khelo India Games<\/span><\/span><\/strong>
            (i)<\/span> Khelo India Games;<\/span><\/span>
            (ii)<\/span> Khelo India School Games;<\/span><\/span>
            (iii)<\/span> Khelo India Youth Games;<\/span><\/span>
            (iv)<\/span> Khelo India University Games;<\/span><\/span>
