Maharashtra National Law University (MNLU) Mumbai is a premier law university established in 2015 in the economic capital of the country. Arbitration has been on the rise across India as a preferred choice of dispute resolution. Owing to a cumulative effort from the judiciary, government and the practitioners, arbitration in India, for the first time in a number of years, has been able to reach international standards. At a crucial juncture like this, the need of the hour is to generate awareness amongst the law students and also to ensure that consistent and high quality research is carried in the field. Additionally, owing to arbitration being utilized in niche fields, it is imperative that the stakeholders and service providers therein are professionally trained to provide top-quality services. It is while keeping in mind the aforementioned needs, that the Centre for Arbitration and Research has been set-up in the University.<\/p>\n

About Indian Review of International Arbitration<\/h3>\n

Indian Review of International Arbitration (IRIArb) is an international journal which follows a blind peer review format and is edited by the professors, practitioners and research scholars from around the globe. The Advisory Board and Editorial Board of the journal manifest the international outlook of the journal.<\/p>\n

The journal is currently published in an online mode by the Centre for Arbitration and Research, Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai. IRIArb publishes twice each year. The Journal accepts high quality, analytical, rigorous papers from professors, practitioners, research scholars and students in the field of international arbitration and the allied areas.<\/p>\n

The journal promotes original, unpublished and high quality research work in the field of international arbitration. The journal encourages empirical work, however, doctrinal papers are also accepted. It is an open-access journal whose aim is to make the knowledge of international arbitration more democratic and accessible. The journal does not accept any payment for the publication.<\/p>\n

She is Vice President, ICC Court of Arbitration, Chair, ICC Commission Task Force on Arbitration and ADR, and Vice-Chair, IBA International Arbitration Committee. She has been identified as a Who\u2019s Who Legal Global Elite Leader. Alongside practice, she also engages in academic\u00a0writing.<\/p>\n
