The amendment inserts a proviso in Rule 14 which deals with <b>Inspection of registers, returns<\/b>. The proviso states a list of particulars of the r<span id=\"page1R_mcid144\" class=\"markedContent\">egister or index or return in respect of the members of a company shall not be made available for any inspection. <\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span id=\"page1R_mcid143\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">In the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink\/gAPFQ9Ws\">Companies (Management and Administration) Rules, 2014<\/a>,<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">in rule 14 dealing with <b>Inspection of registers, returns<\/b>, after sub-rule (2), the <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">following sub-rule shall be inserted<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid144\" class=\"markedContent\">: <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span id=\"page1R_mcid144\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u201c(3) Notwithstandi<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ng anything contained in sub-rules (1) and (2), the following particulars of the register or <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">index or return in respect of the members of a company shall not be made available for any inspection <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">under sub-section (2) or for taking extracts or copies under sub-section (3) of section 94, namely:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li><span id=\"page9R_mcid0\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">address or registered address (in case of a body corporate);<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page9R_mcid1\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span id=\"page9R_mcid1\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">e-mail ID;<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page9R_mcid2\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span id=\"page9R_mcid2\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Unique Identification Number;<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page9R_mcid3\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span id=\"page9R_mcid3\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">PAN Number.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Central Government has notified Companies (Management and Administration) Amendment Rules, 2022 to amend the Companies (Management and Administration) Rules, 2014.
