of the Administrator of the Union territory of Chandigarh. <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid155\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><span id=\"page1R_mcid157\" class=\"markedContent\">They shall come into force<\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid158\" class=\"markedContent\"> on the 1<\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid159\" class=\"markedContent\">st<\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid160\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid161\" class=\"markedContent\"> of April 2022<\/span>.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h4 dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2013<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid165\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: justify;\"><span id=\"page1R_mcid165\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(i)<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">in Group<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid166\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2018A\u2019<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid167\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">,<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid168\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Group<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid169\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2018<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid170\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">B<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid171\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2019<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid172\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid173\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">and Group<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid174\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2018<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid175\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">C<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid176\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2019<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid177\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid178\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">under the administrative control of the Administrator of <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid179\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid180\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Unio<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid181\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">n<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid182\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">t<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid183\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">erritory of Chandigarh shall<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid184\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">,<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid185\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid186\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">subject to any other provision made by the President in <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid187\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">this behalf, be the same as the conditions of service of<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid188\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid189\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">persons appointed to corresponding <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid190\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">services and<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid191\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">posts in Central Civil Services<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid192\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid193\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">of the Government of India<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid194\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid195\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">and shall be governed by <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid196\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the same rules and orders as are applicable to the latter category of persons<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid197\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">;<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid198\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page1R_mcid199\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: justify;\"><span id=\"page1R_mcid199\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(ii)<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">in Group<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2018<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">D<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2019<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">under the administrative control of the Administrator of the Union territory of <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Chandigarh shall, subject to any other provision made by the President in this behalf, be the <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">same as the conditions of the service of the persons appointed to the corresponding Group C <span id=\"page8R_mcid0\" class=\"markedContent\">posts in Central Civil Services of the Government of India and shall be governed by the same rules and orders as are applicable to the latter category of persons:<\/span><span id=\"page8R_mcid1\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: justify;\"><span id=\"page1R_mcid199\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><span id=\"page8R_mcid1\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/>Provided that in case of persons appointed to the services and posts under the administrative control of the Administrator of the Union territory of Chandigarh, who were earlier drawing scales of pay at the rates admissible to the corresponding categories of employees of the Government of Punjab, it shall be competent for the Administrator to revise their scales of pay from time to time so as to bring them at par with the scales of pay which may be sanctioned by the Government of India from time to time to the corresponding categories of its employees:<\/span><span id=\"page8R_mcid2\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: justify;\"><span id=\"page1R_mcid199\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><span id=\"page8R_mcid2\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/>Provided further that the conditions of service including the pay scales in respect of a teaching faculty of,\u2013<\/span><span id=\"page8R_mcid3\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 80px; text-align: justify;\"><span id=\"page1R_mcid199\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><span id=\"page8R_mcid3\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/>(i) a Technical University or Institution, which is governed by the All India Council for Technical Education or Council of Architecture; and<\/span><span id=\"page8R_mcid4\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/>(ii) a Higher Educational University or Institutions, which is governed by the University Grants Commission, <\/span><span id=\"page8R_mcid5\" class=\"markedContent\">vide regulations as made by such Councils or Commission, as the case may be, under any law for the time being in force as applicable, shall be such as specified in the said regulations.<\/span><span id=\"page8R_mcid6\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: justify;\"><span id=\"page1R_mcid199\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><span id=\"page8R_mcid6\" class=\"markedContent\">(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-rule (1), a person appointed to the services and posts under the administrative control of the Administrator of the Union territory of Chandigarh shall be subject to transfer from one Department to another Department so long as such transfer does not adversely affect the pay and allowances, seniority or promotion and all other financial benefits as applicable to such persons.<\/span><br
