href=\"http:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink\/P7K1Ck30\"><span id=\"page7R_mcid13\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Securities and Exchange Board of India (<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page7R_mcid14\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Depositories and Participants<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page7R_mcid15\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">In regulation 35 relating to <strong>c<\/strong><b>onsideration of application for grant of certificate of registration<\/b>, in clause (a), in sub-clause (viii), the first, second and third provisos shall be <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">substituted with the following:<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page7R_mcid20\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: justify;\"><span id=\"page7R_mcid20\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u201cProvided that the stock broker shall have a net-worth of rupees three crores {within one year of the <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">date of notification of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Depositories and Participants) <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page7R_mcid21\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(Amendment) Regulations, 2022<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page7R_mcid22\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">}, which shall be increased to rupees five crores {within two years <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page7R_mcid23\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">of the date of notification of<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page7R_mcid24\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page7R_mcid25\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page7R_mcid26\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Securities and Exchange Board of India (Depositories and <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page7R_mcid27\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Participants)<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page7R_mcid28\" class=\"markedContent\"> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(Amendment) Regulations, 2022<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page7R_mcid29\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">}:<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page7R_mcid30\" class=\"markedContent\"><\/span><span id=\"page7R_mcid31\" class=\"markedContent\"><br role=\"presentation\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: justify;\"><span id=\"page7R_mcid31\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Provided further that a self-clearing member fulfilling the net-worth requirements as provided under <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Stock Brokers) Regulations, 1992 shall also be <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">eligible to register as a depository
