(Amendment) Rules, 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On February 11, 2022, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued the Drone (Amendment) Rules, 2022 to amend the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink\/1OmYn8r4\">Drone Rules, 2021<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Key Amendments:<\/h4>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>In rule 16, which specifies Registration of existing unmanned aircraft systems, <span id=\"page1R_mcid256\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">for the words \u2015within a period of thirty<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">-one days falling after <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the said date, the words, figures and letters \u2015on or before the thirty<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">&#8211;<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">first day of March, 2022, shall be <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">substituted.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: justify;\"><strong>A person owning an unmanned aircraft system manufactured in India or imported into India on or before the 30th day of November, 2021 shall on or before the thirty-first day of March, 2022 , make an application to register and obtain a unique identification number for his unmanned aircraft system and provide requisite details in Form D-2 on the digital sky platform along with the fee as specified in rule 46.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span id=\"page7R_mcid1\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">In Parts VII, VIII and Part XII dealing with Remote Pilot Training Organisation, Research, Development and Testing and Miscellaneious respectively, for the word \u2015licence wherever it occurs, the word <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u2015certificate shall be substituted.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">In rule 34, which specifies Procedure for obtaining a remote pilot licence, sub-rule (4) has been omitted.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Form D-1, D-2, D-3, D-4 and D-5 has been modified .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On February
