On February 01, 2022, the Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC)\u00a0 has issued a notification to make certain relaxations in the \u2018ESIC COVID-19 Relief Scheme\u2019.<\/p>\n
The eligibility conditions will be\u00a0 modified:<\/p>\n
The deceased Insured Person must have been in employment on the date of diagnosis of COVID- 19 disease and contributions for at least 35 days should have been paid or payable in respect of him \/ her during a period of maximum one year immediately preceding the diagnosis of COVID-19 disease resulting in death.<\/p>\n
Any objection or suggestions, which may be received from any person in respect of notification within a period of thirty (30) days from the date of publication, will be considered by the Employees\u2019 State Insurance Corporation.
