It is a peer-reviewed academic law journal, published biannually by the students of the University. The Law Review aims to promote a culture of scholarly research and academic writing by bringing to the forefront, articles on subjects of interest to the legal profession and academia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">NLIU Law Review is now accepting submissions of manuscripts for publication in Volume XI, Issue II of the journal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>THEME<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The NLIU Law Review does not restrict itself to any particular area of law and welcomes contributions from all branches of law, as long as the work is relevant, up to date and original.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><u> Types of Submissions accepted by the NLIU Law Review:<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Manuscripts on any topic of contemporary legal relevance meeting the below-mentioned criteria:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Articles: 5,000-10,000 words<\/li>\n<li>Case Notes: 2,000-5,000 words<\/li>\n<li>Legislative Comments: 1,000-3,000 words<\/li>\n<li>Book Reviews: 1,000-3,000 words<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>The word limit is exclusive of the abstract and the footnotes.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><em><u> General Submission Guidelines:<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Manuscripts submitted to the journal must not be co-authored by more than two persons.<\/li>\n<li>Manuscripts must include an abstract of 250-300 words. The abstract must highlight the structure and the essence of the manuscript.<\/li>\n<li>All submissions must be in .docx format. They must be word-processed and compatible with Microsoft Word 2007 or above.<\/li>\n<li>The manuscript should not contain any information that can be used to identify the author.<\/li>\n<li>Authors are requested to strictly adhere to our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nliulawreview.nliu.ac.in\/submission-guidelines\/\">Submission Guidelines<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>All the submissions must comply with our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nliulawreview.nliu.ac.in\/open-access-policy\/\">Copyright and Open Access Policy<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Manuscripts not in conformity with the\u00a0Submission Guidelines\u00a0may be rejected at the sole discretion of the\u00a0Editorial Board.\u00a0The\u00a0Editorial Board reserves the right to send the manuscripts back to the authors for any modification(s) at any stage, in the event of non-conformity with any of the submission guidelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><em><u> Citation Standards:<\/u><\/em><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Citations must strictly conform to the standards laid down in the Oxford University Standard for Citation of Legal Authorities (4th ed., 2012).<\/li>\n<li>Submissions must use only footnotes as a form of citation.<\/li>\n<li>Speaking or substantive footnotes are highly discouraged.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align:
