SC rules it is for the elected Government to take necessary action if any"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Supreme Court: <\/strong>While addressing a petition making bizarre claim that virgin Coconut Oil can dissolve Covid-19 virus, the Division Bench of Sanjay Kishan Kaul and M.M. Sundresh, JJ., held that it cannot let every person who believes that he has some solution to the virus, to come up in a petition under Article 32 of the Constitution<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The writ petition had been filed under Article 32 of the Constitution by a petitioner who claims to be a Lawyer stating that the People\u2019s Republic of China has deliberately spreading Covid-19 as a \u2018biological weapon\u2019 and the Court should issue some directions to the Government to take action.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>\u201cTo say the least this is most misconceived and it is for the elected Government to take necessary action, if such an action has to be taken.\u201d <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The petitioner also sought for certain directions to the National District Management Authority for solution of Covid-19 claiming himself to be a Researcher and Scientist who had conducted research to find solutions for Covid-19 and claimed that <strong><em>Virgin Coconut Oil dissolves the virus<\/em><\/strong>. Commenting on the bizarre claim, the Bench said,<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>\u201cNothing has prevented him from making suggestions to the appropriate authority. We do believe that it is only an endeavour to get his name in the Press and we expect the Press not to oblige.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lastly, to prevent prospective litigants from approaching the Court with such baseless claims, the Bench held that the Court cannot let every person who believes that he has some solution to the virus, to come up in a petition under Article 32 of the Constitution.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[Krishnaswamy Dhanabalan v.
