This discourse is aimed to be promoted through talks, lectures and panel discussions by dignitaries related to this field, as well as by organising various academic competitions and focusing upon academic writing.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>About the Blog<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The SACJ runs a blog that contains notes, articles, news updates and case briefs on contemporary issues in the fields of Criminal Law, Criminal Justice and allied themes. The blog is comprehensive and is updated regularly. The blog can be accessed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nujssacj.com\/\">here<\/a><u>.<\/u><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Call for Blogs<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Society for Advancement of Criminal Justice (SACJ) at the National University of Juridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata, is now accepting submissions for its blog. The submissions can be centred around any theme relating to Criminal Law, Criminal Justice and its allied avenues and can cover both domestic or international perspectives. However, the piece submitted should not be a mere reiteration of the existing literature or framework, and the author(s) should try to be novel in their ideas.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Co-authorship <\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Co-authorship is allowed for up to 2 authors.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Plagiarism Policy<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The work submitted must be original, unpublished and not under review on any other platform. Any form of plagiarism will result in an automatic disqualification.\u00a0Before submitting any piece, it is requested to refer to our \u2018Conditions for Publication\u2019 dealing with our submission policies regarding plagiarism, copyright infringement and ownership provided on the website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nujssacj.com\/\">which can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Publication Fee<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There is no publication fee for the approved works.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>How to Submit?<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All the submissions must be mailed to <strong><a href=\"mailto:sacjblog@nujs.edu\">sacjblog@nujs.edu<\/a><\/strong> and must be in word format (\u2018.doc\u2019s or \u2018.docx\u2019).<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Guidelines for Publication<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The word limit of the blogs submitted shall ideally be within 2000 words (excluding footnotes). However, we shall be flexible with the word limit if the submission quality is up to the mark.<\/li>\n<li>Case Comments must ordinarily range between 1500 &#8211; 3000 words.<\/li>\n<li>Essays\u00a0 can\u00a0 be\u00a0 submitted\u00a0 on\u00a0 specific\u00a0 themes\u00a0 related\u00a0 to\u00a0 contemporary\u00a0 issues.
