The event was conducted over a period of three days having preliminary rounds, quarter-final round, semi-final round and the final round.\u00a0The competition witnessed participation from 34 registered teams from different law colleges across India.The problem for the competition revolved around Aviation Law &amp; Industry. Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas was the Chief Knowledge Partner, CAMP was the Supporting Partner, and Justice Kuldip Prakash Bhandari Foundation, Chandigarh was the Knowledge Partner for the competition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Inauguration:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Opening Ceremony of the 1<sup>st<\/sup> RGNUL National Negotiation Competition, 2021 on 8<sup>th<\/sup> October, 2021 was graced by <strong>Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai, <\/strong>Vice Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, <strong>Ms. Hiral Gupta,<\/strong>Senior Associate, Shardul Amarchand &amp; Mangal Das, New Delhi, <strong>Ms. Varuna Bhandari,<\/strong> Senior Advocate and Trustee Justice K P Bhandari Foundation, Chandigarh,and<strong> Prof. (Dr.) Naresh Kumar Vats, <\/strong>Registrar, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Events:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event commenced on 8<sup>th<\/sup> October 2021 with the Opening Ceremony, graced by the presence of 45 esteemed guests and distinguished professionals of the dispute resolution fraternity. The preliminary rounds 1 and 2 of the competition were conducted through video submission made by 34 teams over Cisco Webex platform, out of which only the top 8 teams\u2014 \u00a0HPNLU, Shimla; UILS, Panjab University; NLU, Delhi; CNLU, Patna; HNLU, Raipur; DSNLU, Visakhapatnam; NLIU, Bhopal; and MNLU, Mumbai\u2014 made it to the Quarter-Finals that were held on 9<sup>th<\/sup> October 2021. The top 4 teams\u2014 NLU, Delhi; CNLU, Patna; HNLU, Raipur; and NLIU Bhopal qualified for the Semi-Finals, followed by CNLU, Patna and NLU, Delhi to qualify for the Finals on 10<sup>th<\/sup> October 2021.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Valedictory Ceremony:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The closing ceremony of 1<sup>st<\/sup> RGNUL National Negotiation Competition, 2021 was graced by <strong>Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai, <\/strong>Vice Chancellor, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, <strong>Mr. Prakhar Deep, <\/strong>Senior Associate, Shardul Amarchand &amp; Mangal Das, New Delhi, <strong>Mr. Gauhar Mirza, <\/strong>Partner at Shardul Amarchand &amp; Mangal Das, New Delhi, <strong>Ms. Iram Majid, <\/strong>Executive Director, Asia Pacific Centre for Arbitration and Mediation, <strong>Dr. P.C.
