The definition includes:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 40px;\"><span id=\"page3R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">&#8220;personal information&#8221; means an individual&#8217;s <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 40px;\"><span id=\"page3R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\">A. <\/span><span id=\"page3R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">first name or first <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">initial and last name in combination with any one, or more, of the <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">following data: <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 80px;\"><span id=\"page3R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(i)<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Social Security number; <\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 80px;\"><span id=\"page3R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(i<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">i) taxpayer <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">identification number; <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 80px;\"><span id=\"page3R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(iii) identity protection personal identification <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">number issued by the Internal Revenue Service;<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(iv)<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">driver&#8217;s license <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">number<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">,<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">[<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">or<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">]<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">state identification card number<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 80px;\"><span id=\"page3R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(iv) <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">passport number, <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">military <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">identification number or other identification number issued by <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">the government that is commonly used to verify identity<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">; <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 80px;\"><span id=\"page3R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(v)<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">credit or <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">debit <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">card <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">number; <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 80px;\"><span id=\"page3R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">(vi)<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">financial <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">account <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">number<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">in <span id=\"page17R_mcid0\" class=\"markedContent\">combination with any required security code, access code or password that would permit access to such financial account; <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 80px;\"><span id=\"page3R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><span id=\"page17R_mcid0\" class=\"markedContent\">(vii) medical information regarding an individual&#8217;s medical history, mental or physical condition, or medical treatment or diagnosis by a health care professional; <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 80px;\"><span id=\"page3R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><span id=\"page17R_mcid0\" class=\"markedContent\">(viii) health insurance policy number or subscriber identification number, or any unique identifier used by a health insurer to identify the individual; or <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 80px;\"><span id=\"page3R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><span id=\"page17R_mcid0\" class=\"markedContent\">(ix) biometric information consisting of data generated by electronic measurements of an individual&#8217;s unique physical characteristics used to authenticate or ascertain the individual&#8217;s identity, such as a fingerprint, voice print, retina or iris image; or <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 40px;\"><span id=\"page3R_mcid10\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"><span id=\"page17R_mcid0\" class=\"markedContent\">B. user name or electronic mail address, in combination with a password or security question and answer that would permit access to an online account. <\/span><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Shortened the time period to notify consumers and the Attorney General (&#8216;AG&#8217;) of a security breach from 90 to 60 days; and<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Providing confidentiality for material obtained by the AG through Civil Investigative
