Established in 2006, RGNUL has garnered a pan-India reputation as a stellar institution for legal research and education. In May 2015, RGNUL became the first and the only NLU to have been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an \u2018A\u2019 grade. In March 2018, RGNUL was amongst the four NLUs to have been granted an autonomous status by the University Grants Commission.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The University has been ranked among the top 10\u00a0law\u00a0schools in India in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), by the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ABOUT CENTRE FOR BUSINESS LAWS AND TAXATION <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Centre for Business Laws and Taxation (\u201cCBLT\u201d) is a research centre under the aegis of Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab. It aims to promote and conduct interdisciplinary research and undertake numerous activities and projects in the realm of Business Laws and Taxation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ABOUT RGNUL BOOK SERIES ON CORPORATE LAW AND CORPORATE AFFAIRS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0In line it\u2019s the aims and objectives, the centre plans to work on publishing the coveted annual book series on Corporate Laws and Corporate Affairs. The RGNUL Book Series on Corporate Law and Corporate Affairs (hereinafter, \u201cRBS\u201d) is an annual, student-run, peer reviewed book series based at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, established in the year 2016. The book series aims to focus on contemporaneous legal issues related to General Corporate Governance, Banking, Financial Services and Insurance, Consumer Products and Retail, Sports, Dispute Resolution, Communications (Telecom &amp; Broadcasting), Competition Law, Mergers &amp; Acquisition, Taxation, etc. with contributions from practitioners, legal academician, professionals, undergraduate and postgraduate students, etc<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the previous volumes, RBS has successfully collaborated with numerous legal experts, academicians and legal luminaries from top law firms including Cyril AmarchandMangaldas, Jyoti Sagar Associates, Rab&amp;Rab Associates LLP, King Stub &amp;Kasiva Advocates &amp; Attorneys, Wadia Ghandy&amp; Co. and Trilegal. Looking forward, the Book Series endeavours to invite submissions that analyse and review the happenings in the world of competition law and economics.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>CALL FOR PAPERS | ISSUE &#8211; V <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The RBS invites submissions from professionals, academicians, legal practitioners and law students. The theme for Issue \u2013 V [2022 Edition] shall focus on <strong><u>\u201cCOMPETITION LAW\u201d.<\/u><\/strong> The submissions must aim to examine the existing legal framework and further provide a cogent analysis of the same. Prospective authors must aim to provide the readers with a descriptive and critical analysis of the existing literature on the subject, and attempt to add to the existing scholarship. A brief list of suggested topics is given below for the perusal of prospective authors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A brief list of suggestive topics and the submission guidelines for the prospective authors have been mentioned in the brochure which can be accessed through the link <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/10Li4cMwDIGOtTWo5NjigJbjo_xZR98Qg\/view\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>CATEGORIES OF SUBMISSIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Descriptive Articles:<\/strong> A comprehensive and thorough analysis of issues relevant to the theme. The word limit for articles is between 6,000 to 10,000 words.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Essays:<\/strong> They should give a detailed argument-based analysis of the subject matter being dealt with. The word limit for articles is between 3,000 to 6,000 words.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Short Notes:<\/strong> These should contain brief, case and point arguments revolving around a specific issue. The word limit for articles is between 3,000 to 5,000 words.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Case Comments:<\/strong> An academic writing that analyses or is a critique of a recent case. The word limit for commentaries is between 3,000 to 4,000 words.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Normative Law Articles:<\/strong> The authors may provide an opinion and critique relating to the specific Legislations involved in the theme of the issue. The word limit shall not exceed 6,000 words.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>FORMATTING AND CITATION GUIDELINES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>All submissions must be in Garamond, font size 12, line spacing 1.5.<\/li>\n<li>Margins: Left 1.5 Inch and Right 1 Inch, Top 1 Inch and Bottom 1 Inch. All the word limits are exclusive of footnotes.<\/li>\n<li>The OSCOLA System of Citation shall be followed. All footnotes must be in Garamond, size 10, single-spacing and justified.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>SUBMISSION GUIDELINES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The submissions shall be in English language only. The co-authorship shall be limited to a maximum of two authors.<\/li>\n<li>The manuscript should be accompanied with a covering letter specifying the author(s)\u2019 name, designation, institute, contact number and email for future reference.<\/li>\n<li>All submissions must be accompanied with an abstract of not more than 10% of the word limit subject to a minimum of 200 words.<\/li>\n<li>The manuscript should not contain the name of the author(s) or his\/ her institutional affiliation or any other identification mark.<\/li>\n<li>Submissions should be emailed at <a href=\"mailto:rbs@rgnul.ac.in\">rbs@rgnul.ac.in<\/a> with the subject, \u201cSubmission for RBS, Vol. V\u201d. All entries should be submitted in .doc or .docx formats along with a pdf copy of the same.<\/li>\n<li>All manuscripts would be checked\/scrutinized for plagiarism by the Editorial Board. Infringing, offensive or plagiarized submissions will be liable for rejection. Similarity index of 10% shall be strictly adhered to on the submissions received by the Board.<\/li>\n<li>The authors by submitting their articles would be deemed to have divested the copyright of the same to RBS. The author(s) are required to acknowledge the contribution of all persons and resources relating to the submission and bear sole responsibility for the accuracy of facts, opinions or views stated in
