class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Central Government notifies the Adoption (Amendment) Regulations, 2021<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\"> to amend the Adoption Regulations, 2017 in order to make inter-country adoptions easier. <\/span><br role=\"presentation\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Key Amendments:<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>A new chapter is inserted on Procedure for Children Adopted under the Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, 1956, by Parents who desire to relocate child abroad.\u00a0 The Chapter is applicable to:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: justify;\">(i) <span id=\"page10R_mcid57\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">all adoption cases under the Hindu Adoptions and Maintenance Act, 1956 by prospective\u00a0 <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">adoptive parents or adoptive parents residing outside the country.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: justify;\">(ii) <span id=\"page10R_mcid58\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">all adoption cases pertaining to countries outside the Hague Adoption Convention<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span id=\"page12R_mcid1\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Any Hindu prospective adoptive parent habitually residing abroad and willing to adopt an Indian<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page12R_mcid2\" class=\"markedContent\"> <\/span><span id=\"page12R_mcid3\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Hindu <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page12R_mcid4\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">child born to Indian Hindu Parents, residing in India, may approach an Authorised Foreign Adoption <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page12R_mcid5\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Agency or the Central Authority or concerned Government department (in case of countries outside the <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page12R_mcid6\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Hague Adoption Convention) in their country of ha<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page12R_mcid7\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">bitual residence, as the case may be.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span id=\"page12R_mcid47\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">The parties to an adoption concluded under the Hindu Adoptions and <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page12R_mcid48\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Maintenance Act, 1956 are required to joint<\/span><\/span><span id=\"page12R_mcid49\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">ly present the deed of adoption to the District Registrar with <\/span><\/span><span id=\"page12R_mcid50\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">copy to District Magistrate.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span id=\"page14R_mcid15\" class=\"markedContent\"><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Introduced SCHEDULE<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">XXXIII relating to Verification Certificate in case of Adoption Concluded under the Hindu Adoptions and Maintenance Act, 1956.\u00a0<span id=\"page14R_mcid17\"
