The University was accredited with \u2018A\u2019 Grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2015.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>About SALE<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">School of Agricultural Law and Economics (SALE), a center of excellence at the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab (RGNUL), was established with the objective of providing a platform for multidimensional analysis pertaining to research in economics and law, with special emphasis on legal, social, political and cultural paradigms encompassing the study of law.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Students, Scholars, or Academicians pursuing any degree or course from any recognized university can participate in the competition.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Theme<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Agricultural law, policies and practices in India: A multi-dimensional perspective<\/p>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Sub \u2013Theme<\/strong><strong>s<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Prospects of Contract Farming in India<\/li>\n<li>Indian Agricultural Policies vis-a-vis Intergovernmental Organizations<\/li>\n<li>Farm Laws in India: An Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Agricultural Practices in India vis-a-vis Climate Change: A Study<\/li>\n<li>Moving beyond the Crops: Alternatives to increase Farmers&#8217; income<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please Note: The above-mentioned list for sub-themes is merely illustrative and not exhaustive and hence any other submission pertinent to the theme shall be accorded consideration.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Registration Fee<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There is no registration fee.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Prizes<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>1st Prize:\u00a0Rs. 2,500\u00a0(Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred Only)<\/li>\n<li>2nd Prize:\u00a0Rs. 1,500 (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred Only)<\/li>\n<li>3rd Prize:\u00a0Rs.\u00a01,000 (Rupees One thousand Only)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">E \u2013 Certificate of appreciation shall be awarded to the top entries of the competition.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Guidelines<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The essays must be submitted in English only.<\/li>\n<li>The essays should be the original work of the authors. Any kind of plagiarism will lead to disqualification.<\/li>\n<li>The essays published elsewhere or selected\/submitted for publication elsewhere shall be disqualified.<\/li>\n<li>The name(s) of the author(s) should not be mentioned anywhere in the essay.<\/li>\n<li>The word limit for the essay is 2500 \u2013 4000 words, not including footnotes.<\/li>\n<li>The essays should be typed in Times New Roman, Font Size 12 and Line Spacing 1.5, justified.<\/li>\n<li>The footnotes must be typed in Times New Roman, Font Size 10 and Line Spacing 1.<\/li>\n<li>The margins should be 1\u201d or 2.54 cm on all sides.<\/li>\n<li>Every citation must follow the Harvard Bluebook, 20th Edition.<\/li>\n<li>Co-authorship of up to 2 authors is permitted.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Submission Procedure<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The essays must be sent by email to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:sale@rgnul.ac.in#inbox\/_blank\">sale@rgnul.ac.in<\/a>with the subject\u00a0<strong>4TH\u00a0NATIONAL ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The body of the e-mail must specify the name(s) of the author(s).<\/li>\n<li>The essay must be attached in \u2018.doc\u2019 or \u2018.docx\u2019 and Pdf format.<\/li>\n<li>The participants are required to send the following details in a
