The Central Government makes National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (Amendment) Rules, 2021 to amend the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights Rules, 2006. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.<\/p>\n

The Amendment inserts a proviso in Rule 6(3) of National Commission for Protection of Child Rights Rules, 2006:<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cProvided that a person who has held office for two terms as Member or two terms as Chairperson, shall not be eligible for re-nomination as a Member or Chairperson, as the case may be:<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Provided further that a person who has held office-<\/span>
\n(i) for two terms as Member; or<\/span>
