21, 2021, the U.S. Department of Labor announced a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.federalregister.gov\/public-inspection\/2021-15348\/increasing-the-minimum-wage-for-federal-contractors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Notice of Proposed Rulemaking<\/a> to establish standards and procedures to implement and enforce <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/presidential-actions\/2021\/04\/27\/executive-order-on-increasing-the-minimum-wage-for-federal-contractors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Executive Order 14026<\/a>, \u201cIncreasing the Minimum Wage for Federal Contractors,\u201d signed by President on April 27, 2021.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This Executive Order will:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"usa-list\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Increase the minimum wage for workers performing work on or in connection with covered federal contracts to $15 per hour beginning Jan. 30, 2022.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Continue to index the federal contract minimum wage in future years to an inflation measure.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Eliminate the tipped minimum wage for federal contract workers by 2024.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ensure a $15 minimum wage for workers with disabilities performing work on or in connection with covered contracts.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Restore minimum wage protections to outfitters and guides operating on
