Import certificate or electronically generated format required for application for Export Authorisation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On July 16, 2021, the Ministry of Finance issues the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (Second Amendment) Rules, 2021 to further amend the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Rules, 1985.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink\/zzTYUK3s\">Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Rules, 1985<\/a>, in rule 58, sub-rule (2)(b), the following clause shall be substituted, namely: &#8211;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 40px;\">\u201c(b) the import certificate in original or in electronically generated format, issued by the Government of the importing country certifying the official approval of the concerned Government;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 80px;\">Provided that where the import certificate in electronically generated format issued by the Government of importing country, the export authorisation shall be issued, after verification of such electronic format through bar code or through official website or through email of the Government of importing country;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify; padding-left: 80px;\">Provided further that in case the substance is not controlled in the importing country, the exporter shall submit a certificate or letter, in lieu of such import certificate, confirming, no objection to the import or that the substance is not controlled in importing country.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"footnote_text\">Prior to substitution it read as:<\/p>\n<p class=\"footnote_text\">\u201c(<i>b<\/i>) the import certificate in
